First.

Friday afternoon we picked up Kennedy and headed to Atlanta to their first concert to see Fresh Beat Band. They had great fun and wore themselves out!! Thank goodness Natalie packed snacks because it kept these two quiet happy!!

Landon also had his first dentist appointment and was cavity free!! He did great and went back all by himself!!

Even though Landon had a great dentist visit, he wakes up most days telling me he doesn't want to go to the dentist!!

Easter.

The candy has been flowing out of eggs around here and Landon has had more candy that he has his entire life. Sooooo, on Monday, I took the candy (that was left) and put it up for "treats" along with ALL the eggs. We are trying to get back to normal....here is a little peak of our Easter!!

Swing Set

Looks good now, but this thing was no joke to put together. 4 boxes and millions of pieces later its finished. This was a project we worked on the end of January so that it would be ready for Landon's birthday in February. Thankfully we had warm weather and beautiful days to work.

For spring break, we packed up and headed down to Pensacola Beach for the week. We were trying to find a place that would not be packed with spring breakers and we succeeded. Portofino Island Resort turned out to be the perfect destination and we had a wonderful trip. I took a ridiculous amount of pictures and don't even know how I am going to choose.


We can never seem to get a good picture with everyone smiling, looking and eyes open.

Nana and Papa came over for a few days and brought spring break treats!! They were a hit!!

On our last beach trip Pat took his back pack and it turned out to be a great way to transport things and have free hands. I liked it so much, I brought mine too (not pictured)!!

dada dada

As of February 28, this little one started saying dada amongst her babbling, laughing and little squeals. Oh yes, one thing is for sure this little girl loves to squeal!! 8 months has proven to be a fun month. Kate has never been one to want to stay in one place for long, so we rotate from playing on the floor, (not crawling yet, but can roll herself across the room with no problem) to jumping in her bouncer, and then of course to her favorite being held. We love her to pieces and are looking forward to her new developments in the next few months.

In January, we put together a swing set, maybe I will do a post on that. Whew!! But Kate girl loves her swing and that makes all the hard work worth it.

In case you were wondering, she's not all smiles!! This little girl has a temper and she can let it rip!!

My favorite way to start the day is with these two in my bed. We turn on the electric blanket and they watch tv while I do my quiet time. Its hard to get up and get going but usually one of them gets restless and I am forced to get up and moving.
